Middletown, NY – The Galleria at Crystal Run today released its 2021 Community Report that highlights the results of the Center’s collaboration with the Town of Wallkill and Orange County’s non-profit community organizations over the past year. The Community Report is now available at Galleria at Crystal Run Community Impact Report 2021. In 2021, the Galleria at Crystal Run hosted over 100 non-profit events and partnered with many different local organizations that utilized the Center for meeting space, fundraising, and awareness campaigns. The center also partnered with Orange County, the Town of Wallkill, and New York State to host vaccination pop-up sites to the public as well as the Orange County Department of Health to provide weekly information tables.
“We are honored to partner with non-profit organizations throughout the Town of Wallkill and Orange County community to help them make a difference,” said Karla Leon, Marketing Director at the Galleria at Crystal Run. “Thank you to our partners in the community for continuing to allow us to help support their mission.”
The Town of Wallkill Girl Scouts was one of the organizations that hosted events at the Galleria at Crystal Run several times this year. Their Genesis Corner Book Giveaway project was created as part of the Junior Girl Scouts Bronze Award, which focuses on the importance of giving back to the community. Guests visited the Girl Scouts in center court to receive free books donated by the Montgomery Book Exchange and learn more about Girl Scouting.
“Girl Scout Troop 099 Genesis Corner that was hosted by the Galleria Mall was a wonderful experience and was very receiving by the Community. Most that visited us received free books as well as information on joining Girl Scouts,” said Chareese Harper, Town of Wallkill Girl Scout Troop Leader. “The project earned my 5th grader the highest Girl Scout Award at that level. I as the Troop Leader look forward to more collaboration in the future.”
The Galleria at Crystal Run is pleased to work with all not-for-profit organizations looking to benefit from the center, whether for a tabling opportunity, for fundraising and awareness campaigns, to use the community room for training, or a large event in the common area, our doors are always open. Together, we can make a difference.
Galleria at Crystal Run event space, tabling, and community rooms are FREE for non-profit use. Groups are asked to fill out and submit the required paperwork to be granted access. Please submit your request to the marketing department at [email protected] two months prior to the event date and the team will pass along your request.
